The owners of this fabulous home renovated the kitchen to work for them and their children.  I love that the cabinet and breakfast bar looks like a piece of furniture not to mention the fun light fixtures over it.

Organized describes this household and the owner could have a thriving business of helping people structure their homes to be more efficient because she’s that good at it.  Helping keep their kids on track, she lists their activities on their personal chalkboards and keeps their school items in these metal baskets on the wall.

My mother used to say that each room needed to flow into the next one and this beautiful home does just that.

The blue from the kitchen is repeated in the back of the bookcase/china cabinet in the dining room.  I just love the look of bookshelves in any room.

This light filled bedroom is so inviting with the yellow walls and nautical textiles.

The owner’s talented teenage daughter Zentangled the star and letters on her wall and I painted the desk for her.  (A Zentangle uses repetitive patterns to create artistic images).
