The French Provincial hutch below had been sitting in my garage for at least a year before I moved it to the Plaid Rabbit and thankfully it sold quickly. It’s such a fabulous piece.
The Village of East Davenport hosted a Wine Walk in August and for some crazy reason, I decided to start painting it during this event. Many were curious about the process and asked questions about the chalk paint I was using. Others wanted to know why I would paint a piece of furniture that was in good repair.
My client asked me to paint it off-white with a turquoise interior and distress it. The hardware is painted in rubbed oil bronze.
A number of people have asked me if I have any other painted hutches available. What a lovely compliment.
I really like how this piece was transformed by paint.
