When I saw this beauty posted on Craigslist, I wasted no time in calling the owner and telling her that I was on my way. The piece was beat up and the hardware was all wrong but what potential.
I stripped the top and filled some spots with wood putty. I used dark magohany stain and love how the wood grain pops.
The hardware is from another period piece that I renewed. After painting them oil rubbed bronze, I glazed the drawer pulls to tone down the color and like how they turned out.
This angle shows off the top and the curveous drawers.
The sides add some unique visual interest as well.
I haven’t priced the piece yet, but if you’d like to make it your own, please contact me at email@example.com or call 343-2942.
