The blue on the top drawers with their gentle curves reminds me of water and the blue combined with the antique white painted bottom drawers gives this MidCentury dresser a modern look.
The knobs and drawer pulls are the originals painted in oil rubbed bronze.
A neighbor who was moving to Colorado asked if I wanted to purchase some of the furniture they wouldn’t be taking with them and I loved the lines on this dresser.
I was attracted to the wavy top drawers and the way the bottom drawers look like they are nestled in a box not to mention the fun drawer pulls.
I custom painted this piece for a client who I believe is using it in her dining room. She snagged this gray hutch the day I was planning on taking it to The Plaid Rabbit. I think the hutch is in a separate room.
I’m going to ask her to take photos of the dresser and hutch in her home ~ I love seeing pieces that I’ve redone in their new homes!
